Mayor's Message

Dear fellow citizens, 

I would like to express my sincere appreciation, for trusting me at the ‘helm’ of Agios Athanasios Municipality for the next five years.

I would like to declare our determination to work with dedication and dynamism, away from any expediencies but with united decisions so to be able to achieve our goals. We will seek the honest cooperation with all the bodies and all the personnel of the Municipal Service, with the aim of serving and solving the problems of our citizens.

Our main attention will always be the person and his/hers needs and our vision is to transform Agios Athanasios into a modern, functional and more ecological municipality.

Unfortunately, we all are experiencing very difficult social and economical times, that have affected the Local Authorities. Therefore, it’s necessary the cooperation of all as never before, to face the challenges of the upcoming future.

Driven by our core values, guided by our strong principles we seek good administration, transparency, meritocracy, modern organization and collectivity.

Therefore, we must, all together, work effectively, without any personal interest for the good of our community.
